NextGen STEM: Soundproof Box Challenge
Grades 9–12
Can you engineer silence? In this month’s team challenge, you’ll use your STEM smarts to design and build a soundproof box using limited materials and a strict budget. You’ll have one hour to brainstorm, buy your supplies, and build a box that blocks out as much sound as possible. We’ll put your creations to the test—can your box muffle the noise?
