NextGen STEM: Helping Hand Challenge
Grades 9–12
Can you build a hand that really helps? In this inventive STEM challenge, teams will design and construct a mechanical device capable of grabbing and moving objects—no electricity allowed! Using simple materials, your task is to create a functional “helping hand” that mimics the motion of a real one. It’s all about creativity, problem-solving, and clever engineering.
